Shop & cafe to be renovated into a restaurant
Opening at the end of July 2024
Terroage Tohoku is an initiative launched with the aim of revitalizing Tohoku. Based on the concept that "the ultimate marriage is found in the place of production," it has held multiple events across Tohoku and created a "new food experience" that offers delicious food along with the stories of its producers.
We aim to open a restaurant where you can experience terroage on a permanent basis!
*Part of the shop is currently undergoing renovation, so construction noise and other disturbances may occur from time to time.
Our product lineup and menu will remain almost the same as usual, but we are currently suspending the sale of soft serve ice cream. Thank you for your understanding.
The shop and cafe space at Akiu Winery is a relaxing space surrounded by vineyards. We also sell our own wines and food made with local ingredients that go well with wines.
Tastings are available for a fee, starting at 300 yen per glass.
In addition to wine, you can also enjoy soft drinks and snack plates. (8 tables, 28 seats)

About the tour
The wine brewing equipment is located at the back of the shop.
No reservation is necessary and you can freely view it through the glass.
If you are a group, please make a reservation in advance.
As long as you split into groups of a few people each for shopping and a tour of the brewing equipment, the facility can be used by up to 20 people.
In addition, large buses are not allowed to enter the facility, so please inquire about parking at the nearby Nozokibashi Park free parking lot (3-5 minutes on foot).

About the Wine Seminar
Wine seminars by sommeliers are held by reservation only on weekdays. You can enjoy tastings of wines selected by sommeliers and snacks that go well with the wines, as well as tours of the vineyards and winery.

We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes when touring the vineyards. In the hot season, it is useful to bring a sun hat and long sleeves.
