Made from 100% grapes from Akiu Winery's own farm, which contains Akiu stone (tuff) gravel.
A blend of Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir grapes. At first, it has the aroma of orange and herbs, and as the temperature rises, it has the aroma of honey, jasmine, and ripe pear. You can also feel the spicy aroma of Japanese pepper. It has a rounded and concentrated mouthfeel. The acidity is mild, and after a soft bitterness, a slight sweetness spreads.
This wine pairs well with chilled fresh cheeses and with heated, spicy dishes.
