This wine is made from 100% Yama Sauvignon, a hybrid of Cabernet Sauvignon and wild grapes grown at the cool foot of Mt. Gassan in Yamagata Prefecture. Along with a slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of brown sugar and blueberry jam, you can also sense the distinctive scent of wild grapes, reminiscent of blackberries and rich herbs. The well-structured acidity, firm tannins, and rich fruitiness come together, and the unfiltered finish gives it a deep flavor.
