Terroage Tohoku is an initiative launched with the aim of revitalizing Tohoku. Based on the concept that "the ultimate marriage is found in the place of production," it has held multiple events across Tohoku and created a "new food experience" that offers delicious food along with the stories of its producers.
We aim to open a restaurant where you can experience terroage on a permanent basis!
The shop and cafe space at Akiu Winery is a relaxing space surrounded by vineyards. We also sell our own wines and food made with local ingredients that go well with wines.
Tastings are available for a fee, starting at 300 yen per glass.
In addition to wine, you can also enjoy soft drinks and snack plates. (8 tables, 28 seats)

TERROAGE AKIU
"Terroir Akiu" is an Italian restaurant based on the concept that "the ultimate pairing lies in the place of origin," utilizing vegetables grown by farmers around Akiu and ingredients from Miyagi and the Tohoku region.
Enjoy our exquisite wines and food pairings in a relaxing setting surrounded by vineyards.
Winery Picnic
Enjoy a picnic while overlooking the vineyards.
You can also take it out and enjoy it, or give it as a gift – please enjoy it in your preferred style.
Even those who drove to the winery can enjoy the chef's creations and wines in the comfort of their own homes.
There are over 70 outdoor seats.
You are welcome to bring your dog with you.

Pairing course dinner
Dinner is by reservation only.
The set menu includes "wine pairing," where each dish is served with a wine perfectly suited to it.
This course menu, unique to a winery restaurant, allows you to enjoy the perfect pairing of food and wine.
This is a great value course as it includes the cost of wine or non-alcoholic beverages.
