Cider has recently become popular in Japan,
In fact, it's a versatile ingredient that pairs well with a variety of dishes.
It pairs exceptionally well with raw seafood that might have a slightly fishy smell when paired with wine, as it allows you to appreciate the minerals and natural sweetness of the ingredients. It goes well with sushi, tempura of vegetables and seafood, fried foods like karaage and croquettes, Chinese food, ethnic cuisine, yakitori, and much more.
