"Can Sasa Sasakama Ajillo," supervised by Akiho Winery, was featured on "Matsuko's Unknown World ~ A World of Domestic Garlic That Will Change Your Perspective~ ".
Garlic usually gets crushed when processed into ready-made meals, but this product was highlighted for its unusual combination of large, chunky pieces of garlic!
Matsuko commented, "It's so delicious!"

"Can Sasa Sasakama Ajillo"
This ajillo dish features our proud sasakama (fish cake) made using traditional stone milling methods, meticulously kneaded by skilled artisans, resulting in a richly fragrant dish.
The olive oil enhances the delicious flavor of the fish, making this a delightful dish with a pleasant texture.
This product is actually the industry's first canned sasakama (fish cake), developed by Takeda Sasakama Boko Co., Ltd. in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, as a way to create a sasakama with a longer shelf life.
Since sasakama (fish cake) is made from minced fish, they consulted with Akiho Winery about whether it would pair well with white wine, and decided to use it in ajillo!
